Q: How to remove the plastic smell after unboxing? +
A: Our mats are made of eco-friendly, BPA-free PVC. A slight scent is normal when first opened. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth and leave it in a well-ventilated area for 24-48 hours, and the smell will completely disappear.
Q: Will the mat slide off my table? +
A: Not at all. The heavy-duty PVC material provides excellent grip. The Crystal Clear mat has a natural suction-like grip on smooth wood, while the Frosted mat relies on its weight and friction to stay firmly in place.
Q: Why is the mat slightly larger than the size I ordered? +
A: We intentionally cut the mat about 0.5 to 1 cm larger because PVC material may shrink slightly over time. This ensures you get a perfect fit after the "settling" period.
Q: How do I get the mat to lay flat quickly? +
A: There are four easy ways:
  • Use a hairdryer on a warm setting to soften the edges.
  • Place some heavy books on the curled edges for a day.
  • Soak it in warm water for a few minutes, then dry and flatten it.
  • Place the mat curled-side down in direct sunlight for a few hours hours. The natural warmth will soften the material, allowing it to flatten perfectly.
Q: Do you offer custom sizes for round or odd-shaped tables? +
A: Yes! We specialize in customization. For Round tables, simply choose the diameter you need. For Rectangle/Square tables, provide your length and width. If you have a specific shape (like oval), please contact our support team.
Q: How do I measure and choose the correct size for a round table? +
A: Measure the diameter of your tabletop at its widest point. Select the size option that most closely matches your measurement.
Note on Sizing: We typically cut the mat 0.5 to 1 inch larger than the ordered size. This is a deliberate technical allowance to account for the natural physical shrinkage of PVC material over time, ensuring a precise fit after the stabilization period.
Q: Are the edges of the round mat smooth? +
A: Yes. All round protectors are processed using CNC (Computer Numerical Control) cutting technology. This ensures a high-precision circular edge that is smooth to the touch and free from the irregularities common in manual cutting.

Clear round PVC table protector on a wooden dining table

2.0mm clear PVC round table protector

Protect the table. Keep the round tabletop visible.

A clear round PVC protector is ideal when you want practical daily protection without changing the look of the room. The 2.0mm thickness gives the surface a more settled feel than thin covers while remaining flexible, lightweight, and easy to clean.

  • Recommended for round dining tables, breakfast tables, and kitchen tables.
  • Clear finish lets wood grain and tabletop color show through.
  • Waterproof surface helps prevent drink rings, stains, and food mess.

Why 2.0mm Clear PVC Works Well for Round Tables

2.0mm Everyday Stability

Thicker than light film, the 2.0mm clear PVC lays flatter and feels more substantial for daily dining.

Crystal Clear Finish

Keeps the natural wood, stone, or glass-look tabletop visible instead of covering it with a patterned cloth.

Heat Resistant to 80°C

Suitable for warm plates and mugs in normal use. Use trivets for cookware or very hot dishes.

Wipe-Clean Surface

Sauces, water rings, crumbs, and kids' mealtime messes clean up quickly with a damp cloth.

Scratch Protection

Adds a clear barrier against plates, cutlery, laptop use, craft supplies, and everyday friction.

Flexible Round Fit

PVC is lighter and easier to place than glass or acrylic, especially on large round dining tables.
